Honouring the Whispers: Returning to Your Inner Knowing

1. Introduction: The Power of Intuitive Nudges

Throughout history, we’ve been conditioned to seek answers outside of ourselves. Yet those who have dared to turn inward have often made the greatest impact on humanity.

This week’s intention, “I Honour The Whispers Of My Intuition,” invites us to pause, listen, and trust the quiet knowing within.

Intuition is that subtle whisper—a guide often drowned out by logic, fear, or the noise of external expectations—until we choose to honour it.

There have been many moments in my life where following my intuition led to profound redirection. One such moment was when I followed a nudge to step outside my comfort zone and travel to Vienna, Austria. There, I had a life-changing experience of receiving confirmation about my soul purpose. That single act of listening changed everything.

2. The Nature of Intuition

For me, intuition often shows up as a clear inner knowing. At times, it speaks through synchronicities, vivid dreams, or a soft inner voice.

I recall receiving an email about an opportunity to book an event in Vienna. It was not a place I had ever imagined visiting for a meditation retreat, but something in me knew this was a sign. I followed the nudge.

At the retreat, I experienced deeply mystical insights, including a powerful revelation of my life purpose. I learned the importance of intentionality—setting clear intentions before each meditation opened doors to profound spiritual experiences. I also connected with soul-aligned individuals who remain dear friends to this day.

3. What Happens When We Ignore the Whispers?

Reflecting on times I have ignored my intuition, I can clearly see the consequences: misalignment, delays, and unnecessary detours.

One example was delaying putting myself and my work into the public arena. As a naturally private person, sharing my story publicly—especially through My Life Story—felt vulnerable. But ignoring the nudge to be seen only kept me stuck. Once I took aligned action, doors began to open.

Ignoring the whispers can cost us growth, clarity, and peace. Listening to them can change our life.

4. A Practice of Remembering

I invite you to ask yourself: “What intuitive nudge have I been ignoring?”

Returning to intuition is a return to Self. Every time I honour mine, especially on this journey of spiritual awakening, I come home to who I really am.

Set aside time to reflect and write. Let these prompts guide you:

  • What quiet inner knowing have I been pushing aside?
    I name the nudge that has been quietly waiting.

  • What might happen if I followed that nudge without question?
    I explore the possible alignment without dwelling on "what ifs."

  • What fears or doubts arise when I think of acting on my intuition?
    I bring my resistance to light so it can be dissolved.

  • How does my intuition speak to me? Through sensations, emotions, dreams, or visions?
    With every intuitive voice U become familiar with my personal intuitive language.

  • What is one small step I can take to rebuild trust in my intuitive voice?
    I acknowledge past avoidance and take intentional action toward reconnection.

6. Small Steps to Rebuild Trust

One simple but powerful practice I use to rebuild trust in my intuition is this: When I receive guidance, I pause, listen, and act.

Acknowledging even the smallest intuitive nudge with action builds confidence. The more I respond, the louder and clearer the guidance becomes.
